Our History
Palm Bags is born from a history of hand-woven work, with deep roots in family tradition and a love of craftsmanship.
We are the third generation of a family that works with palm, a trade that began in 1954, when my grandfather, for health reasons, changed his life to found a small basket business with my grandmother in Gata de Gorgos .
Since then, the scent of palm leaves and the baskets have been part of my daily life. My aunt followed in her footsteps and, with her husband, opened her own workshop, where my mother—a creative woman—began to create unique designs that I always wanted to share with the world.
For years, I dreamed of creating a brand that would connect our history with the present. But juggling work, studies, and projects made it complicated… until in 2024, with the support of my partner, we decided to make that dream a reality.
A Brand with Soul
After months of work, testing, photos and excitement, Palm Bags is born today:
A brand that combines tradition and style, nature and design, with handmade baskets, piece by piece, made from natural materials that respect the environment.
Each bag is unique because we make it without rushing, taking care of every detail. There are just two people behind this project, and that's why each order carries a part of our story.
